Nikolai Botsman is a highly experienced swimming coach, having competed in both the World and European Championships as a member of the national team. With 17 years of competitive swimming experience, Nikolai represented his country in open water swimming events at the highest level, covering distances of 10 and 16 kilometers. Currently, Nikolai is a member of a sports club in Vancouver and continues his athletic career as a Masters swimmer, staying active in the sport he loves. As a coach with over 10 years of experience, Nikolai excels at helping swimmers improve their skills and prepare for competitions. His sessions are known for being relaxed and enjoyable while always delivering the best results. Whether working with professional athletes or beginners, Nikolai has a unique ability to identify areas for improvement and build on each swimmer’s strengths. Nikolai ensures that every swimmer, regardless of their starting point, leaves with improved confidence and skills, offering lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.

Cancellation Policy

Private lessons: ISWIM maintains a strict 24-hour notification cancellation and no-show policy for private lessons to ensure all of our clients have the same opportunity to receive the highest quality of personal attention and care in their swim lessons. Group lessons and Camps: No cancelations. At our discretion, we may offer you credits if the student suffers from a serious illness or a family bereavement such that they are unable to participate in a session or sessions forming part of the lessons. Make-up Classes: There are no credits or refunds for missed days due to changed work or vacation schedules. We offer two sick days per season. Please inquire about substitute class via email no longer than 7 days after the missed class. Make up classes are subject to availability. We recognize that extenuating circumstances exist. For cancellations due to medical illnesses, or for any other compassionate reason, please apply in writing to the office (no more than 7 days after the emergency occurred). At our discretion, we may offer you credits if the student suffers from a serious illness or a family bereavement such that they are unable to participate in a session or sessions forming part of the lesson. If the reason is medical or illness please include official documentation. Please note we do not accept photos of injury, medical documentation needs to be issued by a medical practitioner.
